Capri Cafaro is a TV personality, cookbook author, and radio host and podcaster who got her start as a state senator in Ohio. She tells Brent about her Italian heritage and the influence of her grandmother on her love of food and how it led her to storytelling on TV. Then, Capri talks about her new show on PBS, America the Bountiful and some of the interesting people she met while filming the first season and, of course, the great food including interesting cranberry and cherry dishes, pear brandy, and hunting for her dinner in South Dakota.
